Kept up with the bouquets in September and was able to bring a car load with me to Long Island where I was lucky enough to attend a painting workshop with Jennifer Orrin Lewis a.k.a. August Wren - what a treat that was to learn from such a wonderfully talented and lovely artist. Her illustrations and paintings grace everything from Kate Spade clothing and accessories to Anthropologie dinnerware and her own books. Her sweet humility belied her extraordinary talent that she generously shared with all the attendees thought the weekend. I am so excited to be able to attend another workshop with her next summer in June art Meleen and Charlotte's Vermont Craft Getaway!
